Meet JOhn!

John grew up sailing the Finger Lakes as a young boy in the mid-1960’s with his parents in a small day-sailer. At age 10, he became very interested in “harnessing the wind” — and hasn’t let it go yet. After college, John began crewing on larger boats and has competed in several major events from local regattas to national championships. In 2010 John received his US Sailing Keelboat Instructors certification. He also volunteers with OASIS Adaptive Sports, helping military veterans with disabilities through sailing and skiing.
